— Did you know that most students lose 2 months of math skills over the summer break? Add this to the fact that big transitions to 6th grade and 9th grade math come with increased academic expectations and it’s no wonder that many students struggle to keep up. You can help your student be prepared to meet the challenges math next year by registering them for a new program in 4J: Summer Springboard.
— At Summer Springboard we will have fun while we learn, mixing it up with math, outdoor activities, financial literacy (learning about jobs and managing money), and computer programming. This program is customized to your student’s learning needs; so whether your student wants to speed up, firm up, or catch up Summer Springboard is a great option.
— In a collaborative partnership with the 4J School District, Summer Springboard is offering an innovative 4-week summer program from July 8th – August 1
. All students entering grades 6-9
are invited to attend. Camp runs Mon-Thur 8:30AM – noon.
There is a charge of $145 per week but some scholarships are available. For more information
