Please join other Roosevelt parents for this year’s first Parent Education Night Monday Nov 4th 7-8:30 PM, where a panel of professionals in internet safety, as well as high school teens, will focus on safety and security and socializing, within this exploding new media. Please join us!

Tdap immunization is required for 7th & 8th grade students.
By February, all 7th and 8th grade students are required to have documentation of a Tdap vaccination to continue to attend school. Influenza vaccine is highly recommended for students as well.
PLEASE check your child’s record to be sure that he/she has the following vaccination and send documentation with the date given for:
Tdap Vaccine – 1 dose
Tdap contains protection against whooping cough (pertussis). Pertussis is a disease that can be spread by children, teenagers and adults to babies, and it can cause severe illness, even death for vulnerable babies. This vaccine is also recommended for adults when their next tetanus booster is due. This will help protect adults, the elderly and our entire community against whooping cough.
If your child has not had the Tdap booster (after age 10) call your doctor’s office or a clinic below for an appointment. Please give an updated immunization record to your school as soon as your child gets the Tdap vaccine. Thank you!
