LANE COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM EXHIBIT
This month, Lane County Historical Museum will host the Oregon Historical Society’s new traveling exhibit What If Heroes Were Not Welcome Home?. This poignant exhibit examines the prejudice that Japanese American veterans from Hood River, Oregon experienced upon their return home from serving our country in World War II. These American citizens served heroically with the United States Armed Forces in the South Pacific and in Europe, yet many of their families were unjustly incarcerated in concentration camps on American soil.
The Museum is located at 740 West 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR , next to the Lane County Fairgrounds (Events Center). Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $5 adults, $3 seniors, $1 youth 15-17, children 14 and under are FREE. For more information call 541-682-4242 or visit www.lanecountyhistoricalsociety.org

In Oregon, those months are October through March! Remember that the most effective methods for preventing the spread of infection are to:
- Wash your hands
- Cover your cough with you sleeve or a tissue
- Don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth
- Avoid close contact with people who have a cold or the flu (Stay home if you are sick!)
