Thank you also to Dr. Robert Gemmell, DMD, for his $100 donation to Roosevelt programs.
Picture retakes are next Monday, October 19, at 9AM. If students are having retakes, they should bring their original picture packet to school next Monday to give the photographer. Students who did not have their pictures taken on the first picture day, should definitely have their pictures taken next Monday. Picture packets are in the office.
Parent-teacher conferences are Tuesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 12, 4-8 pm. All conferences are in the D Gym and parents move from table to table, according to a schedule that will be provided, to meet with up to three teachers for ten minute appointments with each. Your student should have received a yellow appointment request form from the advisor on Tuesday, October 6, but the appointment request form is also attached to this email. Scheduling is completed on a first come, first served basis. Due to high demand, it is not possible to schedule all requests. Therefore, if you don’t have concerns, you may choose not to participate. Please remember conferences are an ongoing process. Parents are always welcome to contact teachers at any point during the school year. Although our resources are limited, our desire to communicate is not. Appointment request forms are due in the office by Thursday, October 15.
The next Activity Night is Friday, October 30, 2015 6:30-8:30pm. Activity Night is a fun and safe opportunity for all Roosevelt students to socialize in a safe and familiar place.
