Last Friday night a spooktacular time was by the most students ever to attend activity night! This would not have been possible without the many, many parent volunteers who gave shared their time with the Roosevelt community. First off, thanks to Laura Fuhriman who is in her 2nd year of coordinating activity night. Thanks to this year’s co-coordinators, Tasha Loveness and Maria Bolanos-McClain. Thanks to all the parents who chaperoned various areas: Jen Bell, Susan Alger, Melody Spear, Crystal Thomas, Rachel Sanders, Beth Pfeiffer, Gwen Polk, JoAnn Hoffman, Christy Monson, Stephanie Lonergan, Katie Brown, Leslie Freck, Sheila Rose-Norris, Laura Illig, Paula Williams, Greg Ingold, Wendy Connelly, Tara Parillo, Janell Matney, Carrie Davis, Christine Sampley, Lori Allen, Heather Kehe, Dehui Wei and Raina Megert.
A special thanks goes out to Carmen’s for donating chips for the concession stand.

COSTA RICA SCIENCE TRIP
7th & 8th grader parents: We still have four spots left to fill on the Costa Rica science trip and wanted to share a bit more info for folks who couldn’t attend the parent meeting. It only costs $99 to reserve your child’s spot with the remaining balance due in March 2016 and there is financial assistance (up to $400 off per trip) for qualified families. We also have a parent volunteer who will help students coordinate fundraising activities with a goal of raising nearly 1/2 the cost of the trip through donations. Although the initial sign-up deadline has passed, we still very much want to fill these spots. If your student is interested and you need more information please contact me email@example.com. Or if you’re ready to sign-up simply go to :http://www.worldstrides.com/signup and use Trip ID: 12689.
Wii GAME DONATIONs NEEDED
Do you have Wii games that are just lying around the house? Would you like to donate them to Roosevelt’s? The Activity Night committee is looking for extra Wii games (we’re down to only one). If you have any to donate, please drop them at the office and let office staff know it is for Activity Night. Thank You.
IMMIGRATION SIMULATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
