STAFF APPRECIATION EVENT

Valentine’s Day is coming up and we want to make it a little sweeter for the teachers and staff at RMS. Please sign up to bring something–treats (cookies, brownies, cake, etc), fruit, savory goods, or a beverage–for everyone to enjoy on Wednesday, February 15th. If you’d like to participate but are unable to bring your item in on Wednesday, you may do so on Tuesday afternoon. All contributions should be brought to the office no later than 1:00 on Wednesday.  PAR will provide plates, napkins, cups, etc.

Thanks so much for helping to make our first staff appreciation event of the year a successful one. The teachers and staff at RMS work hard to make the school an amazing place to be. Please email ancborrevik@yahoo.comwith questions.

SHOWCASE KICK-OFF and INFO MEETING

Join us the evening of Wednesday, February 22nd, from 7:00-8:00 in the library. We will have information about what Showcase Roosevelt is and the many different ways you can help make it a huge success. Showcase Roosevelt is the largest PAR fundraiser of the year and is the source of most of our income, the bulk of which goes to helping pay for FTE. Your help is needed to make this event fun and successful. Come meet with various event coordinators and sign up for areas that interest you including House Baskets, Silent Auction, Staffle Raffle, Advertising, Food, Student Activities, Staff Talent Show, and more. There are a variety of opportunities and time commitments, all of which will be explained at the meeting. This is a great way to get involved at Roosevelt and support our students and staff.

Refreshments will be served and all attendees will be entered in a raffle for prizes to be distributed that evening. Bring a friend and be part of this exciting annual RMS event that will take place on Friday, April 28th.

Please email Alexis Borrevik at ancborrevik@yahoo.com with any questions or if you are unable to attend and would like to sign up for a position.
