THANK YOU!

PAR would like to say thank you to all of the families who donated to last week’s staff appreciation event. Teachers and staff alike enjoyed the treats and tidbits provided by Roosevelt families and were blown away by the generosity of our families. If you left any dishes or utensils at school, they have been washed and can be retrieved in the office. Thank you again.

8TH GRADE PROMOTION ACTIVITIES

8TH GRADE FESTIVITIES ARE COMING!

It’s almost time to give a fond farewell to our 8th graders!  The promotion ceremony is Friday, June 16, 6:30-7:30pm in the large gym.  The dance, exclusively for Roosevelt 8th graders, follows promotion on June 16 at 7:45-9:45pm.  The 8th grade pool party at Amazon Pool is Thursday, June 22, 12:00-2:00pm.   Detailed information and permission forms are attached to this email and are also available on Roosevelt’s website and were distributed to 8th graders in House Monday, May 22.   In the meantime, we need your help to send them off to high school in style, so watch for emails arriving soon for opportunities to:  set up and take down the dance decorations, set up and staff the buffet at the dance and clean up afterwards, staff the pool party, supply delicious, nutritious food for the dance and supply snacks for the pool party;  ALL TO CELEBRATE OUR 8TH GRADERS.

And 7th grade parents, we will be asking you to pay it forward by chaperoning the dance, in anticipation of next year’s 7th grade parents chaperoning your then 8th graders’ dance.
