Direct Donation Drive
By now you should have received a letter about the 2018 Roosevelt Direct Donation Drive that runs through February 18th. Please consider supporting smaller class sizes and more elective options at Roosevelt by making a donation through EEF. Checks can be made out to “EEF/RMS” with staffing in the memo line and can be sent to EEF; PO Box 1015; Eugene, OR, 97440 (please note that this is a correction to the zip code included in the letter sent home).

Online payments can be made at our dedicated direct drive page at . If you need to reach EEF by phone, the correct phone number is 541.790.7744. Thank you for your support of Roosevelt and for passing the word on to families and friends who would like to do the same.

Upcoming Parent Education Night: March 6th
Does Tween to Teen Have to Be As Hard As It Seems? How Parents Can Support Their Middle School Student’s Wellness

Please come join your parent community and take part in a special evening meeting at RMS on Tuesday, March 6th from 6:00 – 7:30, to discuss how to identify stress as it affects your kids, and how to support wellness and resilience in them (and the whole family!) in response.
Led by local psychotherapists Rachel Cazavilan and Paul Bolle, this interactive meeting will help develop ways for you to improve communication around stress and anxiety; how to increase healthy habits that benefit body and mind; and how to feel more harmonious as a family through the teen years and beyond.

In discussion, there will be opportunities to speak up about your experiences, to share questions or concerns anonymously, or simply to listen if you prefer.

No matter how you participate, please know your presence is encouraged and welcome, since this meeting is all about building support for everyone, united as a community!

Refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided.
