Oregon Children’s Choir
Looking for a safe, fun, and inspiring after-school activity for your child this fall? Oregon Children’s Choir offers opportunities for kids to interact and sing with peers and work with experienced choir directors.  Our fall session will take place online. Programs include an elementary choir (1st-5th grade) and two middle/high school choirs, Treble Choir and Boy Choir/Young Men’s Ensemble (6th-12th grades). Spots are also available to audition for our two high school a cappella groups, Synergy and Counterpoint.  As always, need-based tuition assistance is available! For information and to register, visit www.oregonchildrenschoir.org, call 458-215-0070, or email info@oregonchildrenschoir.org.

Chess Club is Back!
Hello Roosevelt Parents. For 27 years, we at Southside Chess have been providing on-site Chess Club opportunities to 4J Students. The coronavirus has caused us to change our format, at least for now, but we have developed an OUTSTANDING ONLINE CHESS PROGRAM. Our summer chess program has been a tremendous success, and we will continue to provide chess to 4J students.  It is a little different in that we will be dividing students into skill-level groups instead of school club groups, but this is actually better for teaching purposes, and we will have school team competitions later in the year, among many online chess playing opportunities. Let’s keep our outstanding 4J chess program going. 20% DISCOUNT FOR STUDENTS OF PARENTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED BECAUSE OF CORONAVIRUS.   Click this link for more information: https://www.southsidechess.com.
