Now is the time to support HAP, our Holiday Assistance Program, with donations of high quality food items and cash. HAP is a great way to care for our Roosevelt community and provides food baskets that go home with fellow RMS families over winter break to provide a holiday meal and food security. Please send in suggested items with your student to turn in to their house.
Suggested donations are: Cash or grocery store gift cards, canned meats like tuna, nut butters, boxed dinners, cereal, pancake mix, canned soups, beans, veggies and fruits, tortillas, rice, grains and pastas, pasta sauces, nuts, dried fruits, and holiday meal components like canned pumpkin and stuffing mix.
A heartfelt thanks to all of you for coming together with your donations of volunteer time and items to support our Roosevelt community.
If you are interested in receiving a food basket please contact our school counselor, Casey Tiemann at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to the Sequential Gas Station and everyone who participated in its Driving Change Campaign. Sequential Fuels donated $12.90 to Roosevelt.
‘TIS THE SEASON OF HEARTFELT SHARING
A Roosevelt/South Eugene High School family of 6, has been living without permanent housing for the past 3 years. This family was recently awarded a house for their family. They now have a house but are in dire need of household furniture and any miscellaneous items you may want to share. If you have household furniture (beds/couches/tables, chairs) or pots/pans, linens, etc. and would like to donate, please contact Blanche at Roosevelt if you can help. Her email address is: email@example.com
or call her at (541)790-8500.
LOST AND FOUND
Have you been wondering where that special jacket you just purchased only a few weeks ago disappeared to…well, it just might be in our chock full of clothes Lost and Found area! Please encourage your child to take time and go through our Lost and Found area and claim any items that belong to them. We will donate all unclaimed items to a local charity at the end of 1st Trimester (December 13th). Parents are welcome to come in and take a look before or after school.

Spring Creek Holly Farm is proud to announce the 4th year of our Give Back To Schools Program.
— The Give Back to Schools Program is very simple. Buy any tree from Spring Creek Holly Farm, tell us your school’s name and we will return 50% of the retail price of that tree to your school. All trees are $4.00/ft so an 8′ tree would retail for $32.00 and $16.00 would be sent to your school after the holidays. There are no limits, the purchaser does not have to be affiliated with the school in anyway, so friends, family and co-workers are welcome to participate. The amount you can earn is up to your school.
— Last year we were pleased to donate over $6,300 among 47 local schools. Several schools raised over $700.00 last year for their schools. Families had a nice holiday experience at our “choose & cut” farm, left with a well-priced Noble Fir Christmas tree, and we sent the school half of the sales price of the tree.
