Does Tween to Teen Have to Be As Hard As It Seems? How Parents Can Support Their Middle School Student’s Wellness
Please come join your parent community and take part in a special evening meeting at RMS on Tuesday, March 6th from 6:00 – 7:30, to discuss how to identify stress as it affects your kids, and how to support wellness and resilience in them (and the whole family!) in response.
Led by local psychotherapists Rachel Cazavilan and Paul Bolle, this interactive meeting will help develop ways for you to improve communication around stress and anxiety; how to increase healthy habits that benefit body and mind; and how to feel more harmonious as a family through the teen years and beyond.
Refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided.

Family, Friend, and Community Donations Needed for Showcase Roosevelt
Showcase Roosevelt, coming up on April 27th, is our biggest and most exciting school-wide event. This evening showcases the talents and skills our students have mastered through the many wonderful programs available at Roosevelt. Showcase also serves as an important fundraiser, featuring a silent auction. Money earned from the auction goes directly back to our school to help the great programs Roosevelt has to offer. The funds raised provide teacher grants, help supplement a portion of staffing, and fill needs that arise during the school year.
At this time we are taking donations for the silent auction. Big or small, consider donating something to this fun event! • Do you own a business that can donate a service or object? • Are you an artist with a piece of work you could donate? • Do you have a vacation home perfect for donation?
Please email our auction chair at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information by April 1st: 1 Auction donation/description/value 2 Your name 3 Your student’s name 4 Phone number and email address
