Be Part of the RMS Track Team! 

Joining Track is an awesome way to:

• Stay fit and challenge yourself

• Learn discipline and teamwork

• Meet new friends and connect with coaches and staff

The events we compete in are:

• Running - 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 100m hurdles, 4x400m relay

• Throwing - Shot Put, Discus

• Jumping - Long Jump, High Jump

• Students can compete in up to 4 events per meet, often in grade- and gender- appropriate heats

Track & Field Season Overview

Meets and Practices:

Track practices will begin Monday, March 2nd, and will take place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm & Wednesday 3:00 pm to 4:45 pm.

Registration: 

1. Click on the Parent Playbook (attached) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the page bottom and click “Get Help”.

2. Please register at: https://eugene-or.finalforms.com/ and follow the prompts to create your account, create your students and sign your forms. The last day to register is March 26th, 2026.

3. Pay the $100 participation fee separately through SchoolPay which is linked here. Or Pay the $20 participation fee (Free-Reduce Lunch Program) separately through SchoolPay which is linked here. Or please reach out about the track participation waivers! We do not want fees to get in the way of anyone participating.

4. Eugene 4J school district requires OSAA Sports Physicals (attached) to be on file dated after 5/16/2024 in order for all students to participate at practice and/or meets.

Proof of insurance is required for all student-athletes. If your student is not fully covered by insurance carried by the parent/guardian, then School Time student accident insurance is available through Myers-Stevens & Toohey. Application forms are available online.

• Dual Meets at all four High Schools - Thursdays March 19, April 9, 16, 23, 2026

• Oregon Relays (Hayward Field, for select athletes) - Fri/Sat, April 4-5, 2026

• Sub Districts- (NEHS or CHS) Thursday April 30, 2026

• Districts – (NEHS) Thursday May 7, 2026

• Oregon Meet of Champions -(Corvallis) Friday May 15, 2026
