C.O.R.E. Creating Our Roosevelt Environment
Hello RMS 2026-27 8th Graders,
Do you want to help 6th graders transition to their new school safely and confidently?
Do you want to be someone to whom 6th graders and other new students can turn to if they have questions or concerns?
Do you want to help students feel safe and welcome at Roosevelt?
If you answered “Yes!” to the above questions, we hope you will apply to be a C.O.R.E. Leader or C.O.R.E. Greeter in the 2026-27 school year by completing this form (link coming 5/11).
Expectations for C.O.R.E. Leaders & C.O.R.E. Greeters:
- C.O.R.E. leaders model positive behavior at school
- C.O.R.E. leaders treat all students with respect and kindness
- C.O.R.E. leaders are responsible and trustworthy
C.O.R.E. Greeters help to welcome 6th graders on 6th grade welcome day.
C.O.R.E. Leaders help to welcome 6th graders on 6th grade welcome day and in addition, are enrolled in Roosevelt's Leadership elective class. They have an important year long role in creating our Roosevelt environment and playing a leadership role in House. The leadership elective class is super fun and an amazing opportunity.
We hope you will apply to be a C.O.R.E. Leader or C.O.R.E. Greeter.
