Hello RMS Families,


I hope this message finds you well and enjoying summer! I'm reaching out to send a quick reminder about the Project Hope, Back to School Giveaway. Registration begins tomorrow morning at 7am.

Project Hope provides students with new athletic shoes, socks, backpacks filled with school supplies, and other resources at no cost to help students begin the school year ready to learn.


This year's Project Hope events: 

  • Saturday, August 29, 1–4pm at Chávez Elementary School (1510 W. 14th Ave.)

  • Sunday, August 30, 1–4pm at North Eugene High School (250 Silver Lane)


What Families Need to Know

  • Registration opens Monday, August 24, at 7am. 

  • Participation is by appointment only, and appointment times fill quickly.

  • Each registered student must be present at their scheduled appointment time. Parents and caregivers do not need a separate appointment.

  • Each student may participate at one Project Hope location only.

  • Families should arrive at their scheduled appointment time—not earlier—to support a welcoming and streamlined experience.
